We serve more than 4,000 seniors across our San Fernando Valley campuses, delivering personalized care tailored to each individual’s needs, from independent living to specialized healthcare programs.

Responsibilities:
Major Gift Fundraising
- Manage and grow a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects with giving capacity at the five-, six-, and seven-figure levels.
- Develop and implement individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and solicitation visits with donors and prospects.
- Prepare compelling proposals, case statements, gift agreements, and donor communications.
- Secure major gifts in support of annual operations, capital projects, campaign priorities, and endowment growth.
Campaign & Strategic Initiatives
- Support comprehensive fundraising campaigns and strategic development initiatives.
- Partner with leadership and campaign volunteers to engage high-capacity donors and community leaders.
- Assist in campaign planning, prospect strategy, moves management, and donor pipeline development.
- Coordinate donor recognition opportunities, naming opportunities, and stewardship activities.
Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with donors, family foundations, professional advisors, and community stakeholders.
- Collaborate with executive staff and board members to support donor engagement and solicitations.
- Ensure timely stewardship, acknowledgment, and follow-up with donors.
Development Operations
- Maintain accurate donor records, contact reports, and fundraising activity within the CRM/database.
- Track progress toward fundraising goals and prepare reports for leadership.
- Participate in development events, donor gatherings, and community outreach activities.
- Stay informed about philanthropy trends, fundraising best practices, and donor engagement strategies.
Education & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience, with demonstrated success securing major gifts.
- Proven ability to cultivate and solicit gifts at the leadership and major gift level.
- Experience working with capital campaigns and donor stewardship preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership, volunteers, and board members.
- Proficiency with donor databases/CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
