Los Angeles Jewish Health has been a trusted provider of senior healthcare for over 100 years, offering a wide range of services that prioritize excellence and Jewish values. We serve more than 4,000 seniors across our San Fernando Valley campuses, delivering personalized care tailored to each individual’s needs, from independent living to specialized healthcare programs.
The responsibilities of the Development Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and implementing programs and meetings for The Executives members, donors, and community.
- Assisting with meeting preparation and follow‑up; handling logistics for board meetings, luncheons, breakfasts, and committee meetings.
- Handling logistics for Circle of Life dinner (gala), Golf Tournament, Poker Tournament, special events, donor recognition, and stewardship events.
- Managing donor listings and information in Raiser’s Edge.
- Communicating with residents, donors, and Board members; general office management.
- Processing stewardship and acknowledgement letters; preparing personalized correspondence; handling tribute donations and cards.
- Coordinating campus tours.
- Staff support for special events and programs, including logistics, scheduling speakers, marketing materials, clerical support, and attendance management.
- Providing administrative support to Director of Affinity Groups, VP of Planned Giving, and others as needed.
- Other projects as assigned.
Education and Skills:
- Must possess an AA Degree, Bachelor's preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Creative self‑starter; nonprofit background preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of donor database software preferred.
- Graphics or Photoshop knowledge preferred.
- Web/social media skills preferred.
