The Lead Housekeeper’s responsibilities are but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Seeking a detail-oriented person to coordinate, delegate tasks and special projects for the housekeeping staff under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean, pleasant physical environment.
• Respond promptly to requests from supervisor and other departments.
• Fill cart with supplies and transport cart to assigned area.
• Enter areas following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
• Replace dirty linens as needed, make beds, clean bathrooms, remove trash, dirty linen.
• Check that all appliances are present in the room and in working order.
• Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings, vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisor.

Experience and Skills:

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• No formal education is required, hotel and hospital desirable with at least a high school education.
• Must be team oriented person with great computer and communication skills.
• Able to maintain quality customer relations with residents, families, and staff.
• Must enjoy and be compassionate with the elderly population.
• Able to meet physical requirements for the job.
• Able to work independently.
