Laundry Aide

Responsibilities:

• Performs various duties as a general laundry worker.
• Duties may include sorting soiled linens by items, loading slings with soiled linens, recording weights of linens, loading and unloading operating washers.
• Maintaining accurate records of soiled linens processed and new inventory placed into the system.
• May include sorting, ironing, folding, and preparing clean linens for use in resident areas.
• Must prioritize work to meet production schedules.
• Serve as a customer service advocate for the Laundry Department.
• Other duties as required.

Experience and Skills:

• Must be able to communicate in the English language.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Experience in medical laundry setting is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
